GLOBETROTTING stand-up comedian, Carl Joshua Ncube will tonight grace the Umahlekisa Comedy Nights at Horizon Pub and Grill in Bulawayo. The event will also feature acts by comedian Ntando Van Moyo and Q the Boss.

Arguably one of the kings of Zimbabwean comedy, Ncube said he was expecting a diverse crowd at the venue.

“We are trying to have something new and different for trade fair week. Considering that we will be performing in front of a largely diverse crowd, we believe that we have our work cut out. We are up for the challenge,” he said.

Ncube, who last performed in Bulawayo last year, said he was happy to be back in the city.

“This performance feels like I have been away from the city for a long time. I am ready for the crowd and I will share new jokes with those who will attend,” said the funny guy.

Umahlekisa Comedy Nights organiser, Ntando Van Moyo said all was set for the show.

“Trade fair is more like Christmas here in Bulawayo as people will be in a festive mood. As we celebrate, Carl and Q the Boss will be cracking ribs,” he said.

Umahlekisa Comedy Nights was founded by Van Moyo in March last year.
