UN delegation meets Bulawayo leadership on women, youth empowerment

BULAWAYO Provincial Affairs and Devolution Permanent Secretary, Mr Paul Nyoni, is today hosting a United Nations delegation at Mhlahlandlela Building as the city steps up efforts to empower women and youths.

The delegation includes UN Women Deputy Executive Director Ms Nyaradzai Gumbonzvanda and Deputy Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Kiven Mutimbanyoka, among other key stakeholders.

The meeting is aimed at exploring practical ways of empowering women and youths in Bulawayo, with a particular focus on strengthening women-owned enterprises, promoting economic inclusion and enhancing access to opportunities.
