The meeting will showcase testimonies, policy discussions, and advocacy commitments that highlight both achievements and challenges in advancing gender equality.
The consultative meeting will also provide impactful stories, from grassroots narratives to donor contributions, and will showcase UN Women’s role as a convener of inclusive dialogue.

UN Women has a triple mandate to help countries set gender equality norms and standards, collaborate with partners to turn commitments into better lives for women and girls, and marshal UN system–wide support to amplify action.
This “policy-to-practice” loop shapes global norms and standards based on local realities, driving change that begins in communities and extends worldwide.
