Under-18 rugby captain upbeat

Stadium but Moolman knows it will not be an easy assignment for his charges who are facing wounded Bulls who lost 26-31 to Boland on Monday.
However, coming out of a 35-17 win over the Griquas at the same venue on Monday, Zimbabwe are confident they will get the better of a side that has given them big problems over that last two years.

In Kimberly two years ago, Zimbabwe suffered a an 81-7 thumping to the Limpopo Blue Bulls and a year latter a 21-68 loss to the same side in Port Elizabeth.
But the Zimbabwean schoolboys believe enough is enough and a win against the Griquas was a morale booster for the side.

“The most important thing is that we surely played as a team because we came to add value to Zimbabwe rugby, play for our country and do the nation proud and that is exactly what we want to do in the next game (this morning),” said Moolman.

“We just have to remain humble and confident, take each game as it comes and everyone is looking forward to the next big game.
“We believed in ourselves, we trust each other and with a combination of all these we can do great things.”

And to the side that took on the Griquas on Monday, coach Godwin “Jaws” Murambiwa has made seven changes. The front row has seen props Tanaka Chikwezvero and Stephen Bhasera coming in for Alexander Zwart and Tapiwa Muringani and are supported by a new lock pairing of Tinashe Gonese and Glynne Rorke while the loose trio of Nicholas Burnett, Moolman and Ivan Bawden remains unchanged.

In the backline scrummy Andrew Dollar comes in for Tinashe Gwisai, Tawanda Ngosi and Justin Zietsman come in for centres Munyaradzi Mashaya and Thomas Chadwick while Brendon Mandivenga has been moved from fullback to second centre.

Jabulani Mutukwa was shifted from number 11 to fullback, Thabani Mujeni has been moved to hooker from tighthead prop while flyhalf Rukudzo Gona and number 14 Brandon Boshi both retained their positions.
Mandivenga, who was named man-of-the-match against Griquas, was one of the seven players who lost to Limpopo Blue Bulls last year.
