YOUNG Warriors and Harare City team doctor Solani Mudariki was yesterday battling for his life after being involved in car accident while on his way from Rusape on Thursday.
Mudariki who was recently with the national Under-20 team at the Cosafa Youth championships in Maseru, Lesotho where the Young Warriros finished fourth, is understood to have been travelling with his in-law in the car.

“I have heard about the accident but I am not at liberty to discuss anything involving the accident,” Chagonda said.
A source within the Young Warriors camp also confirmed the accident and indicated that Mudariki was admitted at Parirenyatwa hospital after sustaining multiple injuries.

“‘Yes we can confirm that our  team doctor, Mudariki suffered head injuries, a double fracture at his right leg and a deep cut to the right hand and he is admitted at Parirenyatwa in the ICU(Intensive Care Unit) but he is in a stable condition.

“Doctors attending to him yesterday advised that he is very safe and will be released to the wards tomorrow (today)”, added the source.
