Underground gang wraps up

The Underground Gang a play which has been running at Jasen Mphepo Little Theatre since Thursday wrapped up on Saturday.

The Underground Gang is a musical play produced by Santu Guild that reflects on the conflict between heroes and the underground gang.

With the former supposedly protecting and nurturing civilisation while the latter questions their methods as the plot unfolds.

A well coordinated crew complemented the stage setting up a uniquely sublime atmosphere invoking surrealism when coupled with the musical overtures.

Fans expressed great satisfaction in standing ovation as they relived the moments with crew calling it a wrap.

They appreciated reviews top tier Broadway stuff even the foreign audience present appreciated in particular the Spanish seranades.

Another applauded the lights, colours music, stage setting, the back stories to the characters, the voices and creativity.

However, the critics present had a few words about the main character development pertaining depth and conflict and also the music but overally they said the play was excellent.

They gave the play a rating of 7/10 saying it was worth the time.
