Unidentified body found at dumpsite

dumped at a garbage site along Maxwell Road, Mt Pleasant in Harare.
In a statement yesterday, Criminal Investigations Department (CID) spokesperson, Detective Inspector Augustine Zimbili, said the body was found on February 1 this year wrapped in a cream blanket with no identification.
The man had bruises in the face and scars in the head.
“The deceased was found wearing a blue short with white stripes on both sides without any identification on him,” he said.
“We are appealing to members of the public to assist us in providing information that may lead to the location of relatives of the deceased and also assist in investigations,” he said.
