Universal Football management director, Kelvin Mufuka, said they are set to travel to the Netherlands in April on an exposure tour.
The tour will consist of players picked from different academies.
They will take Under-18 players, and Mufuka said they are still open to other talented players.
Mufuka said their last trip to Cape Town made them seek further opportunities in Europe. He said they were also eyeing a trip to Brazil.
“Last year in August we went to Cape Town. It was indeed a fruitful and helpful trip. While we were there we went further to seek opportunities for our guys in Europe. We are traveling to Amsterdam on April 4.
“We are set to play some games in Amsterdam. We are happy with the development because it’s a platform we are going to market our players. The players will be exposed to European football. Our technical team will need to improve their football knowledge when we return home,” he said.
Mufuka said they are appreciate everyone who has supported them. He believes their open-door policy which accommodates talented individuals works to their advantage.
“We thank everyone who has been supporting Universal Football. The support is really appreciated. As an institution we are really excited about our forthcoming trip and as it stands most things are already in order.
“We don’t exclude people as long as one is good. Our aim is to give youngsters with talent a platform. We are going there to look for opportunities for them. Even those who didn’t go to Cape Town last year for different reasons can join us.
“If there are good players out there between the ages of 14 and 15 years, we don’t mind taking them.
“We are also going to Istanbul Turkey, Lisbon, Portugal, and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Our young players need to get exposure so that they appreciate the European football environment,” he said.
