University of Zimbabwe (UZ) hosts National Cookout Competition showcasing cultural diversity

THE University of Zimbabwe (UZ) is today hosting the start of the National Cookout Competition in Harare.

The competition is set to last two days, starting today and ending tomorrow, 19 March.

In a statement, the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) said the National Cookout Competition is the brainchild of the First Lady, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, and it is a platform to showcase cultural diversity, celebrate diverse foods, and address food security issues in Africa.

The ZTA said there is going to be an array of different local cuisines being showcased over the two days of the competition.
