UNSTOPPABLE NYASHA MUSHEKWI STRIKES AGAIN

NYASHA Mushekwi scored his eighth goal of the season in the Chinese Super League after guiding Hangzhou Greentown to a stunning 2-1 win over leaders Wuhan Three Towns.

The Zimbabwe international forward broke the deadlock in the eighth minute yesterday and Greentown held a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break.

They conceded a goal after the interval but held on for a big win.

Three Towns remain at the top of the table with 47 points, from 19 games, while Greentown have now moved past the 30-point mark.

They have 32 points.

Mushekwi was the second best player on the pitch, with a rating of 7.14 out of 10.

Only midfielder Franko Andrijasevic, with a rating of 7.23, had a higher rating.

It’s turning into a productive season for Mushekwi.

He became the all-time leading goal scorer at Greentown after breaking the record set by former Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport forward Dino Ndlovu at the club.

Ndlovu scored 42 goals, before leaving the club.

Mushekwi also now holds the record for the fastest goal scored in the Chinese Super League.
