current renovations being undertaken by the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls Airport terminal.
The refurbishments would see the terminal having ATM services among other services and also incorporate temporary structures that would be set up a few days before the General Assembly.
The Permanent Secretary in the Transport, Communication and Infrastructural Development ministry, Mr Munesu Munodawafa yesterday told ZBC News that Government was satisfied with the progress that has been made at the airport as well as the town centre where road rehabilitation has almost been completed.
He, however, emphasised that the other parts of the airport which are undergoing construction are not targeted for completion before the General Assembly.
The committee also visited the site for the opening ceremony, the host hotel and Victoria Falls Hospital which was currently undergoing refurbishments.
