Fund gets donation

“The donations will contribute to the attainment of one of the chief objectives of the Commander Air Force of Zimbabwe Charity Fund which is the promotion of education,” he said.

The donations were received from Multichoice Zimbabwe managing director Mr Lovemore Mangwende and prominent lawyer Mr Jonathan Samukange.

The donation was made up of 10 laptops, 20 desktop computers, 22 600 exercise books and 1 000 pencils.

The Air Force of Zimbabwe has been involved in a number of charitable activities over the years and recently the fund constructed classroom, administration and computer blocks at Murongwe Primary School.

Air Marshal Shiri said the blocks would be commissioned soon.

He said it was everyone’s duty to mobilize resources to support underprivileged children in various rural schools.
