Pauline Ndhlovu, a 25-year-old from Tsholotsho District, under chief Gampu in Matabeleland North Province will this month launch her debut novel.

The writer who has been in South Africa since last year is set to launch her debut inspirational novel titled ‘Dawn On Me’ on the 28th of this month in the neighbouring country.

The Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) fellow said the 238-page novel which was penned in a quest to inspire Christians was written in 2018.

Inspired by J.K Rowling, the author said the launch of the novel which was published in September last year would be held in Hilbrow, Johannesburg, South Africa. Joanne Rowling, best known by her pen name J.K Rowling, is a British author and philanthropist. She wrote ‘Harry Potter’, a seven-volume children’s fantasy series published from 1997 to 2007.

Ndhlovu said her fictional novel is available on Amazon.

“I wrote this book in 2018 when I was 21 years old. Since I had no connections, I kept quiet until September last year when a kith introduced me to Ukhozi publishers in SA. That was when I published my book.

“I’m a Christian worshipping in SDA church and this is how I deliver Godly messages to the world, this is how I evangelise through my stories,” she said.

The motivational speaker who also doubles as a life coach is working on two other books which are expected to be published consecutively in June this year.

“I’m set to publish two books titled, ‘Born to serve you’ and ‘Oh Delillah’. Born to serve you will be published in July while the other one is still in the early chapters but I’ll publish it this year too.

“I wish to be a best-selling author and own a publishing house. I also wish to change lives through Life Coaching and motivational speaking and own an orphanage someday. Also, I want to be a singer. I just want to use all the talents that God has given me,” she added. – @KarubwaTicha
