UNITED STATES-BASED pastor and global youth ambassador Brian Amawateng is expected tomorrow for the inaugural National Youth All-Night Zimbabwe Empowerment Summit set for October 3, 2025.
Pastor Amawateng, widely-recognised for hosting some of the world’s largest youth gatherings, will be the guest of honour and keynote speaker at the event, which is being organised by Hebron Family International Church founder, Prophet Reason Mutero.
Prophet Mutero said the gathering will combine youth empowerment initiatives with prayer and national revival, making it a unique annual fixture on the country’s calendar.
“We have got an exciting upcoming event that will be on October 3, which is themed the National Youth All Night Zimbabwe,” he said.
“This is an event that will be happening annually and on October 3, it will be the first edition.”
The event begins with a Youth Empowerment Summit in the morning, featuring talks from business leaders, clergy and law enforcement officials.
Prophet Mutero said the session aims to equip young people with skills and knowledge to excel in business, ministry and leadership.
He said a major highlight will be a discussion on drug and substance abuse, which continues to affect Zimbabwe’s youth.
Prophet Mutero said police representatives will address the issue, in line with the event’s message of saying “no to drugs”.
“One of the main key things is that most youth are being found in drugs. So we are saying no to drugs. We are also going to be inviting the police to speak to the youth on drugs as well,” he said.
In the evening, the programme will transition into a revival and national prayer session, bringing together men and women of God from different ministries under one roof.
Prophet Mutero said while the event is youth-centred, it is open to all Zimbabweans, including adults.
“We hope to see a revived youth, a revived nation. This event is open to everyone,” he said.
The National Youth All-Night Zimbabwe Empowerment Summit will now be held every October, with organisers aiming to make it a cornerstone event for both youth development and spiritual renewal.
