THE five-match One Day International (ODI) series between Zimbabwe and the United States of America pencilled in for later this month is set to take place in Harare, Zimpapers Sports Hub can reveal.

Last week, USA Cricket announced the tour dates.

However, there were no venues confirmed.

It has since been confirmed that all matches will be played in Harare.

The series is scheduled for October 17 to 28.

Both teams are yet to announce their squads for the series.

Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) is likely to name their final team after the completion of regional matches, which are also scheduled for Harare, starting on October 7.

The Southerns and the Northerns are expected to play three One-day games, which will also serve as preparation for the series.

US women have only played two international 50-over matches since they gained ODI status in 2022.

The USA team will be looking to build on the momentum from the ODI series earlier this year in the UAE against Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Scotland.

They, however, lost the two matches they played against Scotland (41 runs) and PNG (six wickets).
