UZ Wolves maintain pole position

UZ Wolves volleyball clubs continued with their fine start to the Zimbabwe National Volleyball League season when their two representatives maintained pole position in the respective leagues after the second round of games held at White City Stadium.

The men’s side now lead the eight team league by four points, sitting on 14 points with second placed Harare City on 10 points from five games.

The women’s side are on nine points, a point ahead of Bulawayo’s Spartans who are coached by shrewd mentor Vulindlela Moyo while Harare City are third with six points.

League debutants Highlanders managed just a single win when they beat Naba in three straight sets.

The next round of matches is set for Harare at the end of the month.
