VABATI VaJehovha choral group are set to launch their 19th album this week.
The group’s frontman, Richard Magaya, told H-Metro that Baba naMai Charamba and Mambo Dhuterere are expected to warm their stage at the launch.
“The album we are to launch this Saturday, Rinda Unamate, has nine tracks.
“We are expecting our gospel gurus, Baba Charles and Olivia Charamba, to lead us and Mambo Dhuterere is one of the supporting groups.
“One of the songs, Kawele wele, spiced up the album in another language and we urge our listeners to take it easy hadzisi ndimi dzekudenga rurimi rwamarudzi basi,” said Magaya.
He urged preachers to study various languages in order to take the gospel to all parts of the world.
“By adding another language to our album we are simply urging people, especially preachers, to understand the importance of speaking in various languages.
“There is power in speaking local languages wherever you go to preach and Biblical Apostle Paul boasted about it.
“Anoti ndinofara kuti ndinotaura nendimi kupfuura mose, ndimi dzaaitaura mitauro yemarudzi nemarudzi saka kwese kwaaienda akanga asingatsvage mupirikiri izvo zvakaita kuti shoko rifambe,” said Magaya.
The album tracks are; Ivai Nesu, Tsunga Kunyengetera, Kawele Wele, Kufa Chitsidzo, Dzingori Nyasha, Zano Chiro Chakanaka, Ndirori Shoko, Mufaro Mumoyo and Kufamba NaJesu.
