ALL is set for the 11th edition of the Victoria Falls Carnival which begins today ending Sunday.
The multicultural fete, which is meant to promote the resort town as a safe tourist destination, is set to parade some of the continent’s best entertainers.
According to the programme of events, the main stage will be dominated by some of the finest acts.
Nigerian singer Ckay will lead the array of performers set to usher fans into the carnival mood.
Musa Keys, Jah Prayzah, Top Cheri, Oskido, Han-c, Toss Mdoovar 9umba, Black Motion, Enzo Ishall, Anita Jaxson, Mac G & Sol, Alyn Sano, lkg, Rimo, Mi Casa, Tashinga, Nitefreak, Mokoomba, DJ Liz, Khoisan,just Drey, Mafikizolo, Nospa, Boity, Nkosiminator, Renolife and Mtkayntwana MC are part of the three-day fete.
This year’s event is a bit special since it will be held in two phases.
One of the stages will be set in Victoria Falls at the Elephant Hills Resort and another in Livingstone, Zambia at the Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya.
The Zambian affair part and parcel of the Mosi Day of Thunder Festival.
However, this annual event will remain strongly rooted in Victoria Falls.
Judging by the line-up, fans will be spoilt for choice as variety is guaranteed at the event.

The event comes at a time when our own Jah Prayzah has been making global inroads along with Mokoomba, the most travelled and decorated outfit.
Having been assembled in Victoria Falls, Mokoomba will be reunited with their home fans after weeks of international tours/.
Earlier this week, Enzol Ishall – one of the luckiest chanters – told H-Metro he was ready to return the faith shown by festival organisers.
The Mabvuku bred chanter has been performing at a number of prestigious events, an indication his appeal is growing with the passing of each day.
Enzo said this will be his first time to perform at the carnival and he is happy to showcase his talent.
He will have the opportunity to sample his two new songs “Handidi” and “Kanganwa”.
Enzo said with this opportunity he will continue to make his name while performing alongside great musicians from both local and international levels.
“We are so excited for the 11th Edition of Carnival this time next week, we are happy to announce that at the same event we will introduce our two new songs that are due for release in May.
“We promise an electric set in Victoria Falls. We are also happy to be part of the line up,” he said.
Being a well-known prestigious regional fete, South African outfits – Mi Cassa and Mafizolo – will be reunited with Zimbabweans at the multicultural fete where they have become regulars.
