A SLEEK, jaw-dropping new tourism gem has just dropped in Victoria Falls — and it’s not your ordinary venue. Welcome to Queen Nandi Place, the bold new multi-purpose hospitality hotspot shaking up the MICE tourism scene!

Unveiled with glitz and glam by the Victoria Falls Safari Collection under Africa Albida Tourism (AAT), Queen Nandi Place is a game-changer — built to attract big business, high-end events, and visitors who want more than just a waterfall selfie.

Named after the legendary Zulu queen mother of Shaka, this powerful venue is already turning heads — and opening doors for collaboration across Zimbabwe’s tourism sector.

“This is our game plan to pull serious MICE business into Vic Falls,” said a pumped-up AAT marketing boss Anald Musonza. “We don’t want to compete — we want to complete the destination! This is about big conferences, dreamy weddings, high-profile dinners, yoga retreats — and filling hotel beds!”

FACTS AT A GLANCE:
* Capacity: 200 guests
* Purpose: Events, dining, wellness, conferences, gala dinners, weddings
* Bonus: Built with 90% local materials – a win for local industry
* Next Up: 2 more breakaway rooms and a revamped Indaba Conference Room

Queen Nandi Place joins a powerful lineup of AAT venues, including the iconic Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and the ever-popular Boma – Dinner & Drum Show.

But it’s not just about infrastructure — it’s about strategy.

“MICE tourism is a billion-dollar global biz. If we want in, we need the venues — and now, we’ve got them,” Musonza added.

Tourism Business Council rep Barbara Murasiranwa-Hughes didn’t hold back: “This is what we’ve been waiting for. MICE tourism is effective. Now we’ve got the venue — let’s push marketing!”

Wellness guru Kerrith O’Fee and Ayana Africa Travel’s Tina Mubwandarikwa are already on board, with bookings rolling in and yoga mats ready to roll.

“This place isn’t just a vibe — it’s the future,” said Tina. “Vic Falls is no longer just about safaris. It’s about events, food, fitness, and unforgettable experiences.”

So, is Vic Falls ready for a new era? Queen Nandi says yes — and she’s got the venue to prove it.
