A 36-year-old man from Victoria Falls appeared at the Victoria Falls Magistrates Court charged with violating section 10 (7) of the Domestic Violence Act.
In a statement, the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) said on November 10, 2024, the accused person breached a protection order prohibiting him from visiting or abusing his ex-wife.
“He went to her home, threatened her with a knife and hurled vulgar insults. For this misdemeanor the accused person will serve 10 months imprisonment,” said NPAZ.
