Commenting on the development, the chief executive of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority  Karikoga Kaseke said the project by Germans for  Germans will put the country under the spotlight and further market the destination particularly the Victoria Falls as a rare spectacle.
“We are excited about this project poised to portray the attractiveness of this destination and given the latest thumbs-up by Germans themselves, 2012 is projected to witness a 9 percent increase in arrivals from this top spending primary source market,” said Kaseke.
The production of the reality film is expected to further complement ZTA’s efforts  in marketing and promoting Zimbabwe’s premier tourist resorts in Europe which contributed about 6 percent of the overall tourism arrivals to Zimbabwe in 2011 with Germany coming second after UK.
German arrivals buoyed by 44 percent in 2011 from 16 910 to 24 300.
