VICTORY Fellowship Church will hold a  fundraising sports fun day at Milton High School today under the theme, “the explosion of gifts and talents”.
Today’s sports fun day is part of the church’s fundraising initiative for a youth camp while part of the funds will be donated to charity.
Event organiser Amanda Huni said there will be a lot of activities like ball games which include soccer, basketball, rugby and tennis, as well as children’s games like egg on spoon and jumping castle among others.

“We will be having a lot of activities that will cater for everyone, we are raising funds, part of which will be donated to charitable organisations,” said Huni.

She said they chose sport because they felt it was the area that is not much celebrated within the church.
“Sport is not much celebrated within the church so we want to show the youths that they can take up sport as a career and to celebrate the talents that God gave us,” she said.

Huni appealed to members of public to come in their numbers as the event is not only for youths but for everyone.
“Let’s all come together to celebrate the gifts and talents while enjoying a day of fun and fellowship,” she said.
All the activities will start at 10 am.
