Atipa Cancer Trust organises fundraising match

Sports Reporter
ATIPA Cancer Trust will hold a touch rugby fundraising match at Hartsfield Grounds today to assist five-year- old Atipa Moyo, a cancer patient. The fundraising match is meant to raise money to pay for Moyo’s chemotherapy treatment at Avenues Clinic in Harare.
Touch rugby is a rare game of rugby where a team consists of eight males and four females.
Charity Kwangadzai the Trust chairperson said they were committed to ensuring that Moyo gets the required money for his treatment.
“Atipa is a very energetic boy so we want him to undergo treatment so that he is active again,” said Kwangadzai.

She appealed to members of the public to join hands and support the noble cause.
“It will be a family fun day and we hope many people will come to support the initiative,” said Kwangadzai.
She said other activities will include jumping castles for children.

Registration will be $20 per team while the entry fee is $2 per person.
All the activities will start at 10 am.
