VETERAN video director and media personality, Talent Mushayamano, staged a march in Harare Central Business District in support of Alick Macheso’s album, which is set to be launched on Friday.

Mushayamano said the march was in appreciation of the sungura ace for his great artistry.

Macheso will be launching his ‘Kupa Kuturika’ album at Alex Sports Club.

“On Saturday I took the album launch campaign for Baba Shero personally as I went onto the streets with a portable board with the details on it.

“It somehow caught the attention of the people who were in traffic.

“The reason why I did so was to show solidarity with the maestro king who has supported my work for a long time now when the whole industry had forgotten about me.

“We are so excited to be partnering with Cheso Power Music in such a big event as they gave me the opportunity to work with them In the live streaming of the entire album launch on his social media handles.

“I am also looking forward to directing one of the musical videos from the album, once his management approves.”

Mushayamano has worked with other big names in the industry like Soul Jah Love, Kinnah, Dhadza D, Passion Java, among others.

“The journey has not been easy but I thank people like Baba Sharo for believing in me.

“I am also planning to work with both upcoming and established artists on my new project that will be on YouTube.

“It is called the Talent Factory where we will be giving artists a platform to have music videos, shot and directed by myself, under a certain agreement which may not require them to be paying anything.

“I am passionate to work with corporates, and even our government, to push the narratives that shapes the Zimbabwe we want,” he said.
