of Showtime Records produced the song.
The track is a creative and contemporary fusion of afro-jazz, house and floetry with Vimbai’s honey soothing voice flowing over what appears to be one of the biggest dance tuned this season.
“I feel great about it. It’s only been out for a week and its doing well. The video will be out hopefully early next year and I am trying to make all the logistics now,” she said.
Asked how she learnt singing, she said:
“I have been singing since I was five. I had a voice coach when I was growing so I would say I have been singing all my life.”
This makes Vimbai the second Zimbabwean Big Brother Africa former housemate after Munyaradzi “the Diamond Boy” Chidzonga, to have a go at music.
However, it remains to be seen whether it’s just for fame or money.
The song is already being played on Radio Phoenix (Zambia), Kiss FM (Abuja, Nigeria), Planet Radio (South Africa) and of course our very own Power FM.
