SCOTT Vincent returned to the Sunshine Tour with a second round of six-under at the Dimension Data Pro-Am spread over three courses of Fancourt Country Club in Johannesburg, South Africa, yesterday. The opening three rounds are on at Montagu, Outeniqua and The Links at Fancourt ahead of the final round on Montagu tomorrow.
High scores were recorded in the opening two rounds as the players were facing challenges in rotating the courses.
Vincent lead the Zimbabwean contingent, who had some good scores after yesterday’s round, in which Mark Williams was a single shot behind on five-under and tied in eighth place.
Vincent has been taking part in the Asian and Canadian Tour. He complimented his level par score 72 on Thursday. Lying in fifth place, he is tied with South Africa’s Sean Bradley and United States’ Cody Martin who both had rounds of 66.
Also doing well is Ryan Cairns who was on two-under par after the second round with scores of 72 and 70.
