A total of 96 golfers including some girls took to the field in the 72-holes tournament, which draw up most juniors.
The golfer made headlines on his first outing as he won the tournament at college. Pre-tournament favourite Ben-Follet Smith was second after he had a wonderful come back.
Smith was tipped to take the championship before the game considering his form.
The Wingate based golfer remains the one to watch this season as he has managed to make up on most of the basics, which led him down of late. The golfer carded 82, 72, 77 and 71 for a gross score of 302.
It was Victoria Falls based Thembelani Vundhla who latter settled for third place after a good performance that saw him hitting some long balls
Vundla playing in the same ball with the first round leaders made a great improvement as the young golfer stamped his authority as he played his second round.
Vundhla managed to hit good shots despite playing top golfers. Vundhla on 303 was tied with Nick Masunga who is also having a dream season.
The golfers carded 75, 74, 73 and 81 with a 75, 77, 76 and 75 respectively.
