and Tigo-Vodafone emerged with six awards including two personality awards.
The company took home awards such as the coveted Telecom Brand of the Year and Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives of the Year.
Uche Ofodile, chief marketing officer at Vodafone Ghana, said the awards haul exceeded the company’s expectations.
“When last year, we won a large number of awards, we did not know we could do it again but we are so honoured and grateful for these awards.
“I think they are just a reflection of our hard work and the creativity of our business. We are going to continue to make sure that in everything we do we have the customer in mind and that delivers the results for us.”
Ofodile, who also won the Outstanding Contribution to Marketing Award, said winning the Innovative Telecom Company of the Year was testament that innovation was, and will continue to remain, one of the major pillars of Vodafone’s business.
“Innovation is in our DNA. Everything from our advertising to our products, to our CSR to what we do with music; there is innovation at the very heart of it. It’s a part of us, it’s in our brand, and it’s in our personality, so continue to expect more from us.”
