“Certification such as the one achieved by Volsec Security is an assurance of good quality, a means of demonstrating a business’ ability to consistently supply quality services.
“ISO 9001 certification is now firmly established as the globally accepted standard for providing assurance about the quality of goods and services in supplier-customer relations. We are delighted that Volsec has joined the club and is one of the 95 companies in Zimbabwe, Malawi and South Africa certified to ISO 9001:2008 by SAZ,” she said.
Volsec Security chief executive Mr Reuben Chisale said the certification was testimony to the firm’s longstanding commitment to quality.
“The road to attaining ISO 9001: 2008 was a long one, but an exciting challenge for the organisation, involving all levels from the least to the most senior staff.
“We kicked off this journey with a systems development training, the objectives being to equip participants with knowledge and skills for developing and implementing effective a quality management system in the organisation,” he said.
The certification was achieved through the work of an ISO committee comprising representatives from all divisions.
