Volsec scoops two awards

VOLSEC Security scooped two prestigious awards at the 2014 Annual NSSA Safety and Health at Work Awards. The awards were held last Friday at the Rainbow Towers Hotel in Harare.
The integrated security company won the: Occupational Safety and Health Gold Award for the most improved company in accident prevention and the Occupational Safety and Health Silver Award in the Commercial and Distribution Sector.

The Safety and Health at Work Awards ceremony is an annual event held to celebrate and recognise those who have excelled in areas of safety and health in the workplace.

Earlier this year, Volsec Security became the first security company in Zimbabwe to be certified in the following three standards: ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System) – Certified 2012, ISO 14001:2004 (Environment Management System) – Certified 2014 and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) – Certified 2014.
