He said members of ZNA must always remember that Zimbabwe will never be a colony again.
Lt-Col Vengesai was speaking at a handover-takeover parade at One Commando barracks where he handed over the leadership of the regiment to incoming commander Lt-Col Donnie Washington Chidawanyika.
Lt-Col Vengesai said it was not easy working under an economy crippled by illegal sanctions imposed by the West. “The road from the day I tookover as commander to date was not easy. Your loyalty, dedication and resilience made us sail through during a time of illegal sanctions imposed on our country by Britain and its allies.”
