Unions consult members

representatives, led by Mr David Dzatsunga, last week chose nine substantive negotiators from different unions for endorsement by Government.

The list included two officials from the Public Service Association despite the union leaders being absent from the meeting. The PSA subsequently wrote another letter stating the names were submitted without their consent.

Government rejected the list and for the third time, urged their unions to resolve their differences for salary negotiations to resume.
Public Service acting secretary Mr Rodgers Sisimayi yesterday said the names had been submitted without consulting the PSA.
