NGEZI Platinum forward Walter Vuwa believes good days are around the corner as he seeks to establish himself in the Premiership.
Vuwa spent most of last season on the sidelines due to recurring injuries.
Ngezi have managed to draw all four games they have played this season.
Speaking ahead of their away game against Manica Diamonds at Gibbo tomorrow, Vuwa is optimistic about a positive result.
“Not winning games yet is not affecting my focus at the moment. I think we are doing everything right but it’s just a phase.
“We will get through it as a team and we just need to keep on pushing.
“I would say so far so good but there’s still more work to be done.
“We have to keep pushing as a team and try to grind results. Winning games at this point will definitely change everything for us, which is necessary going forward as a team.”
He added:
“Obviously, we want to register our first win of the season as soon as possible and the upcoming game against Manica gives us a chance to turn things for the better.
“As an individual, l would want to score my first goal too and it will be a good confidence-booster.”
Vuwa said he embraces competition in the team as it pushes him to surpass his limits.
“It means a lot because as a player it helps me to boost my confidence.
When there is competition in the team it means as individuals we have to push ourselves to surpass our own limits.
