Vybz Kartel returns to court this month

According to the dancehall deejay’s representative, Kartel is very confident that he will walk free at the end of the trial

“Worl’Boss was in very good spirit on my last visit,” the representative said.
“We all know that the authorities know that Kartel was set up, so he is hoping good sense will prevail in the trial because an innocent man life is on the line,” the representative continues.

Despite all the talks of mounting evidence against Vybz Kartel, his representative says the “Dancehall Hero” will not go down without a fight.
“Kartel will not go down without a fight and his legal team is pulling all the stops to ensure he walks free because he is innocent of these charges,” the rep added.

Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, returns to court on Wednesday, May 27. However, fans are keeping their fingers cross given the numerous delays in the trial over the last year. Kartel was arrested in September 2011 in Kingston and slapped with two murder charges related to the death of Clive “Lizard” Williams and Barrington “Bossie” Burton.

Detectives say they are in possession of video evidence linking Vybz Kartel and his co-accused to Williams’ murder.
Clive Williams, who detectives say was beaten to death at a home in Havendale by Vybz Kartel and his cronies, body was not found. Vybz Kartel’s protege Shawn Storm and four other men are also charged with same murder. — Urban Islandz.
