The Zanu PF War Veterans League is currently holding its 7th National Executive Council meeting, which is set to create resolution items to be used at the 22nd National Conference to be held in Mutare this month.

The meeting is being held at the Zanu PF headquarters in Harare.

Speaking on the sidelines of the executive meeting, the Secretary for Veterans, Ex-Political Prisoners, Detainees and Restrictees League, Cde Douglas Mahiya said, “We are meeting here to discuss and prepare resolutions for the 22nd National Conference.

Every party league and wing is doing the same, and for the veterans, we need to focus on their welfare. We need to put in place our own resolutions that speak to welfare issues.”
