THE Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans’ Association’s (ZNLWVA) Bulawayo province will tomorrow hold a meeting to deliberate on issues affecting ex-combatants.
The meeting will be held at the association’s Entumbane suburb offices at 9AM.
Bulawayo province war veterans chairman Cde Cephas Ncube said all members are required to be in attendance.
“The meeting will be focusing on the current situation in the association. You’re aware there were wrangles within the association,” said Cde Ncube.
He said the meeting would allow the provincial leadership to also report about the meeting that they held with President Mugabe in April.
“Not all of us managed to travel to Harare to meet up with the President. So we’re going to be reporting back on some of the resolutions that were made in that meeting,” he said.
Cde Ncube said the province would also deliberate on issues that need to be addressed.
He said tomorrow’s meeting will start early to afford a platform for all association members to deliberate on issues affecting them.
“We’re urging all association members to attend the meeting without fail. Those war veterans who’re not part of the association but want to be part of the meeting should come to listen but as per our policy they’re not allowed to contribute in our deliberations,” Cde Ncube said.
