WARRIORS duo Munashe Garananga and Tawanda Maswanhise are turning heads in Europe after delivering sensational performances in the UEFA Champions League and Scottish League Cup respectively.
Garananga was a defensive rock for Danish giants FC Copenhagen as they brushed aside Drita 2–0 in the Champions League second qualifying round on Tuesday.
The Warriors centre-back played the full match and was the engine of the backline, pulling off key tackles, aerial wins, and ice-cold interceptions.
But it was his masterclass in passing that stole the show — Garananga completed 114 of his 122 passes, the highest in the match, earning himself a stellar 8.2 out of 10 rating.
Meanwhile in Scotland, red-hot forward Tawanda Maswanhise is quickly making a name for himself. The former Leicester City winger struck twice for Motherwell in their 3–0 win over Greenock Morton in the Scottish League Cup.
Maswanhise’s brace takes his tally to four goals in just two games this season. His second goal, a curling low drive into the bottom corner, had fans on their feet.
The 21-year-old is being hailed as one of the breakout stars of the Scottish campaign so far, constantly threatening defences with pace, positioning and sharp finishing.
Warriors fans will be watching closely as the dynamic duo continues to light up Europe.
