FORGOTTEN player Eusebio Manuwere, who is based in Mozambique, has bounced back into the national team that will face South Africa in an international friendly on September 11.However, the squad is subject to change depending with where the match will be played.
The South Africa Football Association are yet to announce the venue with indications that Bafana Bafana might travel to Zimbabwe.
In the event the match is played here, the coaches will have to drop the foreign-based players and stick to the home-based squad which would have played Mozambique in the World Cup qualifier in Harare two days earlier.
However, in the event that the match goes ahead as planned in South Africa, the Warriors coaches and a few players who would have not featured in the dead rubber against Mozambique will then join their counterparts in South Africa.
Warriors coach has also recalled Onesimor Bhasera, Carrington Nyadombo and Kingstone Nkhatha who last featured for the national team under former coach Rahman Gumbo.
These players were overlooked by the previous coach Klaus Dieter Pagels who chose to rebuild the team with young players who fitted into his vision.
They last played in Luanda when Zimbabwe was denied a place to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations by Angola last year in October.
Bhasera is still club hunting in South Africa and was reported to be training with Wits University.
Meanwhile Warriors’ forward Tendai Ndoro has signed for South African new Premiership side Mpumalanga Black Aces.
The forward has agreed a one-year loan deal with an option to permanently sign for the club.
The striker has been undergoing trials at the club.
His manager George Deda, who moved mountains to strike this deal, was ecstatic about the development.
“I consulted with Chicken Inn, we agreed to put him on loan with an option to seal a permanent deal.
“Aces were a bit sceptical about Zimbabwean players in view of what happened to Simba Sithole, Abbas Amidu and Takesure Chinyama.
“He had a big offer from Sundowns but we didn’t want to throw him into the deep end and more so the club has more than 10 foreign players.
“But Aces are a new team in the Premiership and there is no pressure at all.” said Deda.
The Warriors’ forward has been in good form and has scored 11 league goals.
He joins former Warriors skipper Method Mwanjali who is the captain at the Mpumalanga side.
