This was Mai TT’s Facebook post just after her union with her estranged US-based husband Tinashe Maphosa had been cemented.
The two professed love for each other, got married in a lavish US$100 000 wedding, in April.
Fast forward to today, the vows made in front of a watching nation, have all been forgotten. There are now accusations of adultery and theft being traded between the couple.
Mai TT claims Tinashe is an ungrateful sweet-talker, whom she first accused of cheating with Joey Nyikadzino.
Tinashe had commented on Joey’s Facebook post, asking her to show more of her face.
However, Joey dismissed the claims saying she had never met him.
Then, there was Shuvai, a mutual friend of Mai TT and Tinashe, who is accused of allegedly getting into bed with the United States-based fellow, when the social media star was attending a function in Victoria Falls.
There are claims that soon after the wedding, Maphosa cheated on his new wife, before he disappeared to his base in the US.
What followed were arguments in a family group. Then, news emerged that Maphosa had borrowed money from Mai TT, while the outspoken comedienne further claimed she footed the wedding bill alone.
The two acrimoniously went their separate ways, with Mai TT left to lick her wounds, and pay back money Tinashe borrowed from their friends and other service providers.
Mai TT claims she wants a divorce, but Tinashe doesn’t seem interested.
Noone is talking about Washington DC or Hollywood right now.
