ALL eyes were on Zanele Moyo as the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2026 stepped into her homecoming press conference, drawing admiration and pride from Bulawayo residents and city officials.
Speaking during the event, Bulawayo Mayor, David Coltart commended Moyo for her dedication and achievements, describing her as a source of pride for the city.
He said her success comes at a time when Bulawayo continues to grapple with economic challenges, with many industries operating below capacity.
The Mayor highlighted the complexities involved in reviving the city’s industrial base, noting that recovery requires sustained effort, investment and collaboration among stakeholders.
He expressed optimism that ambassadors such as Moyo could play a pivotal role in repositioning Bulawayo by promoting its rich cultural heritage and tourism potential.
