BULAWAYO exploded into chaos Sunday afternoon as furious Dynamos fans turned violent, stoning the team bus and cracking its windscreen outside Barbourfields Stadium following a humiliating 3–0 thrashing by Chicken Inn.

In scenes that shocked even hardened police officers, one suspect believed to have hurled the damaging missile was apprehended by riot cops, while scores of angry blue-and-white faithful gathered in front of Barbourfields Police Station, demanding answers from club leadership.
Despite police efforts to disperse the livid supporters, the mob only backed up about 100 metres — staying just within missile-throwing range of the battered bus.
“There’s no way the bus is moving now,” said one shaken club official. “We are waiting until it is completely clear and safe. Right now, tempers are still high.”

The violence comes after DeMbare’s abysmal 3–0 loss in a relegation battle, which saw Chicken Inn run riot at Emagumeni. Frustrated fans, fed up with poor results and internal chaos, took matters into their own hands.
“They’ve embarrassed the jersey,” shouted one fan, “We travelled all the way to watch this rubbish and they just gave up!”
Police maintained a heavy presence to prevent further violence, but the damage was already done — literally and emotionally.
