WATCH: Feeding the less privileged in Bulawayo

MRS Senelisiwe Chiphomo, founder of the Usizo Foundation — a non-governmental organisation that feeds the less privileged in Bulawayo — says she provides meals to at least 150 people every Sunday.

“We started feeding the homeless, street kids and anyone in need of a hot plate of food every Sunday since 2019. The Covid-19 pandemic was the most difficult time for some of the less privileged residents of Bulawayo, and we had to feed more people,” said Mrs Chiphomo.

She prepares the food at home before driving to the corner of George Silundika Street and 9th Avenue, where her team, including her children, dishes out the meals.
