A FILABUSI woman is desperately searching for her missing adult son who disappeared in the Silalatshani area five years ago.
Mrs Thoko Mabhena told Zimpapers that her son, Ndumiso Ndlovu, was last seen in Silalatshani, Matabeleland South Province, in February 2021.
“People that last saw him say he was attacked by a group of gold panners in the Silalatshani area where a lot of illegal gold mining takes place and was ferried by a well wisher to UBH (United Bulawayo Hospitals) in Bulawayo.” said Mrs Mabhena
She said after he recovered from his injuries he briefly stayed in Lobengula West suburb and could not go back to Silalatshani for fear of his life.
“I’m not sure if he is still here in Zimbabwe or he went to South Africa.
“I’m appealing to anyone with information on Ndumiso’s whereabouts to contact us on 0772899650”
The missing man is 41 years old.
