Midlands province residents might want to brush up on their Cash Kontant Huh dance moves, as South African Amapiano superstar, President ya straata, Focalistic is set to hit Gweru tomorrow for the College Shutdown Party.
The event, happening at the Bowling Club, will be headlined by Focalistic, who is currently trending across social media platforms, especially on TikTok, with the viral Cash Kontant Huh challenge.

Organised by Mahogany TV, the party promises to be a memorable night as Focalistic, famous for his hit Ke Star, takes centre stage. He will be supported by popular local acts including Enzo Ishall, Young Gemini, and Silent Killer, who recently released his new hit song Hatitongwe nema Salad.
Xrey, one of the event organisers, expressed excitement about bringing one of Amapiano’s biggest stars to Gweru.

“We have set up a state-of-the-art stage at the Bowling Club car park for what we believe will be the biggest and best college shutdown party we’ve ever hosted. Headlining the party is none other than Focalistic,” he said.
The line-up also includes DJs Masty, MC Tiff, DJ Carlos, DJ Halls, DJ Mash, MC Balut, Skimbo, and Washa T, who will entertain the crowd before and after the main event.
“For those seeking a premium experience, VIP tables are available, ranging from US$200 to US$1 000. Tickets are already on sale, and partygoers are encouraged to secure theirs early,” organisers said.

From Gweru, Focalistic is set to travel to Gwanda for the Shorts and Shades event at Phoenix Tshisanyama on Saturday. Local acts Jah Master, Mzoe7, and Kaykid UmfanomSotho will also perform, adding to the excitement. The event whose gates open at 4pm, will feature DJ Keitho, DJ Virus, and Black Operator on the decks, while Freddy K will serve as the host.
Event organisers in Gwanda have confirmed that everything is set, and they are now just waiting for the artiste’s arrival.
“It’s all systems go. Focalistic arrives tomorrow for the show in Gweru, and we’ll take over on Saturday. We can’t wait to host him, and people in Gwanda are more than excited,” they shared.
