SILAS Ndlovu, considered to be the architect of the modern Highlanders FC, will be among legendary football personalities to be honoured by the Bulawayo Soccer Coaches Association.

Morris Mukwiti confirmed on Thursday that there would be a function at the Bulawayo Zifa offices where Ndlovu and four other luminaries will be presented with gifts for their role in shaping up and inspiring generations in the game.

Highlanders became a force to reckon with from 1973 when they won the Chibuku Trophy and three consecutive regional titles of the elite league.

They were national champions in 1974.

Ndlovu guided Bosso to their first league and cup double in 1990 with a team whose attack was led by the Ndlovu duo of Peter and the late Adam.
