HIGHLANDERS’ new coach, Benjani Mwaruwari, is set for a warm stay at the club, with fans extending cheerful remarks following his appointment.
Amid the excitement that has gripped the legion of supporters, there has also been a message of gratitude directed at business mogul Wicknell Chivayo for bringing Mwaruwari on board to take charge of the country’s oldest club, which is celebrating 100 years of existence.
Zimpapers Sports Hub spoke to some Bosso supporters in Bulawayo’s high-density suburb of Nkulumane, where Mwaruwari is highly respected.
Mwaruwari’s family once lived in the suburb shortly after he made the move to South Africa to sign for Jomo Cosmos.
In the video, Bosso faithful Sabelo Sihwa and Easyboy Tshabangu express their appreciation to Chivayo.
