WATCH: Highlanders need quality signings to break championship drought – Ngwenya

FORMER Highlanders board member Thomas Ngwenya has urged the club to buy players during this transfer window.

He said results may continue to elude Bosso unless quality is brought on board.
In an interview with Zimpapers, Ngwenya said he sympathises with interim coach Try Ncube and whoever may take over at the club as long as they do not go to the market to buy quality players.

He said Bosso’s wait for the championship, the longest since the club joined association football in 1969, has to end soon.

“It will be an accident for him if he gets results with what he has in the basket at the moment. You can be a good coach but if you do not have the players it will be a miracle to rise,” said Ngwenya who voluntarily stepped down to allow new brains to come on board.
