HIGHLANDERS have announced a new partnership with CBZ Bank, aimed at generating revenue for the club through member transactions with the financial institution.
The collaboration was officially launched at a ceremony held at a local hotel in Bulawayo on Friday evening.
In a statement released ahead of the event, the club expressed excitement over what it described as a “groundbreaking” development.
“We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership between Highlanders FC and CBZ Bank,” the club said.
“Our Bosso membership cards now double as CBZ bank accounts, enabling seamless transactions, savings, and remittances, with the added convenience of a VISA card. A percentage of every transaction will support the club, driving growth and success. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration and exploring new opportunities together.”
This innovative initiative is expected to strengthen ties between Highlanders and their supporters by integrating everyday financial transactions with club support.
Highlanders, one of Zimbabwe’s oldest and most successful football clubs, are presently sponsored by Sakunda Holdings and Better Brands.
They also have ongoing partnerships with Utande, Sanctuary Insurance, and Nyaradzo Funeral Services.
