WATCH: Matabeleland South celebrates Defence Forces Day

IN Matabeleland South, scores of people have gathered at Phelandaba Stadium in Gwanda for the Zimbabwe Defence Forces celebrations.

 

The day started with a march by the Zimbabwe National Army band across Gwanda town.

Minister of State for Matabeleland South Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Cde Albert Nguluvhe is expected to preside over the celebrations.

The Minister will inspect the quarter guard mounted by the Zimbabwe National Army before reading President Mnangagwa’s speech.

The ZNA band is keeping the crowd entertained while awaiting the main event to start.

In attendance are service chiefs, political leaders, traditional leaders, civil servants, faith leaders, residents, children, among others.
