METHEMBE Tshuma has qualified for his second final at the African Junior Championships in Nigeria after finishing second in the 200m semi-finals.

He clocked a time of 21.28 seconds, an impressive effort for the Sobukazi High School pupil.

Tshuma was unfortunate to finish seventh in the 100m final on Friday morning.

Running on the seventh lane, Tshuma had a good start, taking charge on the curve as they approached the home straight and held on a neck-to-neck finish to book himself into the final as Zimbabwe continued to search for more silverware.

Already bronze is in the kit and the chase continues on Saturday evening with more events lined up.
